Hey guys! Just left the barn. Had such a good ride!
We worked on his canter leads and they’re getting so much better!
Erin (our trainer) said that I should be able to two-point around the entire arena for ten laps! So I worked on that and so far I can make it around a couple of times. Not too bad.
Also, to improve his behavior we have been doing circles. Lots of circles. Circles in the walk, circles in the trot, and canter. Circles in the barn, the field, and when he freaks out. It’s starting to get a little dizzy. But I will admit they have improved him 1000%, so I will gladly carry on with them.
But besides that…
I dressed Legend in the most handsome bell boots known to man.
Made by the one and only Kavallerie.
When they say they are “No Turn” they mean they are no turn! The boots have a hard plastic on the inside, while on the inside they have soft fabric padding. The fasteners are Velcro with the Kavallerie logo on the top.
They come in White or Black and from small all the way to XXL.
Putting them on Legend they fit super well and don’t move around at all.
If they’re muddy when you get off, go ahead and hose them off. Once you get home you can spray stain remover on the inside if you’d like, then put them in a laundry bag or pillow case to prevent damage and just throw them in the wash with your laundry or towels on a normal wash. Afterwards you can either put them in the dryer on the coolest setting or let them air dry. BAM! They look brand new.
